OK so here are my Terms of Use. A disclaimer. Don't say I didn't warn you!
-I am not an Asperger's expert. I am a Mom learning day by day.
-I don't sugarcoat. I tell it like it is.
-I might curse. Didn't I just say I would tell it like it is? I will curse - when need be.
-Excuse any grammatical errors. I may be a former teacher, but I'm not perfect.
-I am an optimistic realist.
-Hope and humor go a long way for me.
-I don't take myself too seriously. Follow my lead.
-I am here to share and learn. Comments and emails are encouraged.

Somebody once told me to "enjoy his brightness." They were probably referring to the fact that many people with Asperger's Syndrome have above average IQs. But it meant so much more to me. It is a reminder to always enjoy his smile, his laughter and all the joy he brings to our lives.
About Me
My name is Mona and I am the mother of two adorable and hilarious kids. Evan is eight years old and Lia is six. Raising children is full of surprises- throw Asperger's into the mix and there's lots to talk about!
